What's actually in Your Farmer's beef sausages?

Beef and not much else. Grass-fed beef from Southern Highlands cattle, a touch of rich flour, salt and herbs, in natural casings. That's it. No fillers, no preservatives (no sulphites, no nitrates), no gluten, no soy, no MSG, no emulsifiers. The secret ingredient is beef.

Are these sausages gluten-free?

Yes, completely gluten-free. No breadcrumbs, no rusk. The casings are natural (not synthetic cellulose). Safe for gluten-intolerant family members.

Why are these sausages so different from supermarket sausages?

Most supermarket sausages are 30–50% beef and the rest is filler (soy, breadcrumbs, water, preservatives, colour, flavouring), that's how the price stays low. Ours are over 95% grass-fed beef, with natural casings, salt and herbs. The texture, the flavour and the way they cook are all completely different.

How do I cook these sausages?

Low and slow on a medium pan or BBQ, 12–15 minutes turning regularly. Don't prick them (you'll lose juice). They're 95%+ beef so they cook a touch faster than fattier supermarket sausages. Pull when they hit 65°C internal. Rest 2 minutes. They're delicious.

Are the sausages kid-friendly?

Yes, and they're one of our most popular family items. Kid-friendly, kids love them. Adults love them. Everyone loves them. Mild herbs, no chilli, no MSG, no synthetic flavour. The kind of sausages you can give the kids and not feel weird about.
