Where can I buy grass-fed beef near me in NSW or ACT?
If you're inside our delivery footprint, anywhere within 150 km of the Southern Highlands across Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Nowra, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Southern Highlands itself, Goulburn or Canberra, we deliver direct from named ecological farms in our own refrigerated vans. Do you deliver to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney?
Yes, Eastern Sydney is on our 1st Saturday Greater Sydney run, along with Inner West, Western Sydney, North Shore, Hills District and Northern Beaches. Bondi, Coogee, Maroubra, Randwick, Vaucluse and surrounds are all covered. Pop your postcode at checkout to confirm and lock in your delivery date.
How fresh is the meat when it arrives?
Beef and lamb are ProCryo-frozen at peak, dropped to -18°C in under two hours, vacuum-sealed, no water added. That locks in nutrients better than "fresh" supermarket meat that's been on a multi-state cold chain for weeks. Eggs and produce ship fresh in our reusable insulated esky. We pick it up next delivery. No couriers, no waste.
What if I'm not home when delivery arrives?
Not a problem, our insulated esky keeps your box safe on the doorstep for many hours. Select Authority to Leave at checkout and tell us where to pop it (a shaded spot is best). We send an SMS with a delivery photo so you know it's landed. In extreme heat we'll adjust timing to protect product quality.
Why does Your Farmer only deliver within 150 km of the Southern Highlands?
Because food miles are part of the standard. We could deliver further. We choose not to. Every box travels under 150 km from our farms to your door, that means fresher food, lower carbon, and a system that actually matches the values it claims. Shipping a "regenerative" meat box 1,000 km on an interstate truck doesn't add up.
What's the order cut-off for my area?
Cut-offs are 5 days before your delivery weekend. 1st Saturday/Sunday run, order by 28th of the prior month. 2nd Saturday/Sunday, by the 5th. 3rd weekend, by the 12th. 4th weekend, by the 19th. After cut-off your order rolls to the next available run automatically. If your desperate, give us a call, were really nice and make stuff work.
Is there a minimum order or delivery fee?
No minimum order. Delivery is free for subscribers on orders over $200, orders under that show a small route-based fee at checkout. CSA shares may include reduced or included delivery on scheduled runs. Everything is transparent before you pay.
Do you deliver to Canberra and the ACT?
Yes, Canberra and surrounds are covered on our 2nd Saturday run, alongside Goulburn. Same eco-grown grass-fed beef, lamb, pastured eggs and produce as our Sydney customers. Pop your ACT postcode into checkout to confirm and see the next delivery date.
