Who writes the recipes for Your Farmer Kitchen?
Recipes are written and tested by the Your Farmer team, David and Melissa, plus the cooks in our kitchen, using the exact cuts, eggs and produce that ship in our subscriber boxes. If a recipe calls for grass-fed mince, that's the mince our subscribers receive. If it leans on a slow-cooker cut, it's because that's what's in the box that month. We won't waste your time with filler.
Do the recipes match the cuts in my CSA box?
Yes. Where a recipe references a specific cut from one of our CSA packs (Pack A, B, C or D), we've tested it with that exact cut so the timing and technique transfer straight to your kitchen. The recipes are designed around what's actually in the box that month, not a Pinterest fantasy.
What kind of cooking does Your Farmer Kitchen focus on?
Simple, honest cooking that lets the ingredient do the heavy lifting. Whole-animal, nose-to-tail. Designed for families to share around the table, quick weeknights and slow Sundays both. Tested for flavour first and weeknight feasibility second. If we lean on a technique like slow-braising or dry-brining, it's because it gets the most out of the cut, not because we're chasing trends.

All recipes live at yourfarmer.com.au/blogs/recipes, over 35 grass-fed beef recipes already published with cut-by-cut coverage, plus a growing library for lamb, pastured eggs and seasonal produce. Tag us on Instagram or Facebook when you cook them, we love seeing what you're making.
Are the recipes free?
Yes, every recipe is free to read and cook. We publish them so subscribers get the most out of their boxes, but anyone can use them. If you'd like the matching ingredients delivered, that's where the CSA share comes in.
